Terms and Conditions

The following is our Terms and Conditions and details how we (Claytime PTY LTD) do business with you the customer. It specifically pertains how we do business through our internet web site. Any reference to goods, jewellery or pieces are those made by employees of Claytime PTY LTD and their associates as ordered by the customer.

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE PLACING AN ORDER

1. Ordering Fingerprint Jewellery (Including Baby Steps and Dinky Doodles) & Refund Policy

1.1 If you choose to have an impression taken for you by us (depending on area and availability) payment will be required in full by the customer before an appointment can be confirmed. Until this point, an appointment can be provisionally booked by you. We accept cash payments and a receipt will be given to you at the time of full payment. Claytime PTY LTD reserve the right to cancel this appointment at a reasonable time and reschedule at another time to suit you. When an appointment is made, we at Claytime will endeavour to attend the appointment at the pre determined time, however, we cannot be held responsible for circumstances outwith our control which may lead to us being late or having to cancel. In this case, another appointment time will be rescheduled as detailed above. We will of course let you know if we are running late or unable to attend for any reason. When making an appointment, please ensure that you have an hour free to minimise the risk of cancellations.

1.1.1 If you would like to make an appointment, please use the Contact Us link at the bottom of each page to enquire about times and availability in your area.

1.2 After you place your order, we will post you an impression kit with full instruction on use. This will be sent by Australia Post first class in most cases. If this is lost or damaged in the post this is deemed outwith our control and a $10.00 re issue fee will be charged before we can send you another impression kit.

1.3 If you do not follow the instructions on the impression kit and we cannot use the print, a $10.00 re issue fee will also apply.

1.4 Each piece is hand made to your individual specification and completely unique to you. Therefore refunds will only apply in the following circumstances:
1.4.1 If the personalisation details provided by you do not match that on the item.
1.4.2 The item you receive does not match that on our web site that you specifically ordered.

1.5 Our manufacturing process takes place as soon as we receive the impression back from you. It is therefore impossible to cancel an order beyond this point. As the jewellery piece is unique to you we cannot re use materials or re sell jewellery to another customer. We start work on your jewellery right away in order that you receive your piece in a timely fashion. This is why we cannot accept liability for cancellations past this point in time. We will continue to process your order and make sure you receive it as promised.

1.5.1 If you change your mind after an impression kit has been sent to you, we will deduct $10.00 for the cost of the impression kit and postage and a further $14.00 administration fee ($24.00 in total) This includes the refund processing fee made by most banks.

1.6 Claytime PTY LTD has complete liberty to co ordinate the format and layout of the fingerprint and / or writing if not clearly stated by you at the point your order is made. This is accepted by you the customer at the time of placing your order and the responsibility lies with the customer to clearly state any personal preferences that you may require. If no specific requirement is made, Claytime PTY LTD will be deemed as having full creative lisence to produce the format in which your piece is designed and laid out.

1.7 Please note that there will be slight variations in all orders as the materials we use "shrink" (approx 10%) in the manufacturing process. Jewellery is sized approximately and as each item is hand crafted individually, it is accepted that variations between pieces will apply. These variations include but are not limited to size and style of writing, fingerprint depth etc.

1.8 When ordering a piece of jewellery not usually showcased on the web site, please make your requirements as clear as possible. We will initiate a consultation process with you by email and / or phone to make sure that we fully understand your requirements before any manufacturing process begins. If in the unlikely event that we cannot meet your requirements, a full refund will be given to you.

1.9 Please place your order by clicking the appropriate link under each item and follow the instructions. If you need help ordering, please Contact Us by using the link at the bottom of each page. Once an order has been placed, it is deemed that you have read and understood these terms and conditions.

1.10 Your acceptance of the goods is at the point of receipt and delivery. Damages or faulty goods must be reported to us within 7 days of receipt.

1.11 All finished pieces are warranted free from defects in material and workmanship for 12 months from delivery date.

These Terms and Conditions do not in any way affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
